![]() I will keep OpenGL layers enabled and also will do some WebGL testing in the next days, will report new bugs with details if needed. With all that, after a few minutes of use, it looks like everything's working and looking correctly. UA: Mozilla/5.0 (X11 Linux x86_64 rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0 So it’s either glitchy textures or cpu bottleneck for me, then. My openSUSE Factory now is roughly at the state of soon-to-be-released openSUSE 12.2, with kernel 3.4.4 and X.org 1.12.3, for reference. OK, as I filed that bug, I guess I should test and verify as well. Tungsten Graphics, Inc - Mesa DRI Intel(R) Sandybridge Desktop - 2.1 Mesa 7.11.1 Tungsten Graphics, Inc - Mesa DRI Intel(R) Sandybridge Desktop This is an openSUSE Factory (right now roughly equivalent with the just-released openSUSE 12.1) system with Intel SandyBridge (i7-2600K) graphics, here's some info on what I'm running: I used -enabled=true to turn on OpenGL layers on my current Nightly build, and I get flickering of apparently most or all areas that are redrawn at any stage, and I get some interesting rendering artifacts of which I'll attach screen shots. There is a box to check for Clean Install select (check) that box. This may be similar to or the same as bug 687831, but the info there is not enough for me to determine that. Select Custom install carry on to the next pane. Select Graphics only (no GeForce Experience). (If AMD graphics were installed at one time you would want to run the tool again - set it to AMD then clean those remnants out) Run the recommended “Clean then restart”. On the tool you select Graphics type then Nvidia. I haven't seen it happen since changing it from auto detect. Assets Materials HDRIs SBSARs 3D All Categories Help License Gallery. What helped me is system > Advanced > make sure graphics card option is set to your graphics card. (This isn’t essential and you will need to confirm you have the windows password before you do so. I like to boot the computer into safe mode then run the DDU tool. (it will extract to a folder called DDU) * Then unplug the Ethernet or disable the Wifi to avoid Windows automatic driver installation. Have you tried a Clean uninstall/reinstall using the DDU tool.ĭownload the most recent Nvidia driver (you may still have it).īasically you extract the uninstaller from the download. If my specs are at play here here are my PC specs: So I don’t know what to do unless Blizzard themselves address this issue in the next big patch or Hotfix, because for some reason despite Nvidia Driver 431.60 saying it resolved the issue, its still flickering for me. Like being in Zandalar, Kul’tiras, and Naz’jatar is fine.īut Stormwind City has the flickering issue as well as Silithus. So all I did was only lower the graphic setting to Good Liquid Detail that only disables the Full Reflection feature.Īnd usually it flickers only in select areas of the Game. Any other flickering should be easily fixed with OLA (Open Limit Adjuster, no need for flickr.asi) and mipmapping the textures as well as forcing Anisotropic Filtering through Nvidia (or equivalent) control panel. Basically for some reason the game at the moment cannot handle the Liquid Detail at High/Ultra settings because that gives the Full Reflection Detail and it appears the texture flickering is the game bugging up the full reflection at the moment. Those stone textures flickering can't be fixed (to my knowledge). So after reading more about this issue someone recommended to lower the graphic settings to fix the flickering and it worked for me.īut in my case I found the specific/exact graphical setting that causes this issue and its only the liquid detail settings.
